Before he was the Picky People's Plumber, Ken Flournoy was a rigger at music venues and filmed videos for MTV. Between shows he worked for a local plumber, and in January 1991 he opened his own shop, which he still owns. Homeowners up in Travelers Rest and down in Fountain Inn call Ken's to swap tank water heaters for tankless, run gas lines, and clear root-choked sewer lines, with a trenchless option when a line has to go.
Commercial work has taken the crew into offices, restaurants, and schools for backflow tests, grease traps, and hard-to-find slab leaks.
