Grander works at two scales: full custom homes, and the pool houses, guest-house ADUs, covered decks and porches, and sunroom additions that grow an existing property. Garages get a division of their own, Garage Guys by Grander, focused on new detached garages and workshops designed to look like they came with the house. Completed garages already stand on properties from Greer and Greenville out to Simpsonville and Piedmont.
Founder Micah Barney grew up around the trades in Minnesota and earned a construction management degree from North Dakota State before launching the company in 2021. Custom homes can add performance upgrades like ZIP System sheathing and a spray-applied roof-deck barrier paired with dense-pack cellulose walls. Clients tend to praise clear updates and a meticulous approach, and one credits the team with a multi-level covered patio that had stumped other contractors.
